Numre 32:9

Verse 9. For although thus instructed in the letter of the Word, and in the general doctrine of charity, and thus enabled to understand the character of the heavenly life, yet the natural man has not faith springing from love, and is disposed to retard the progress of the man of the church toward the heavenly state.
