Numeri 31:23

Verse 23. Which is capable of being affected by pure love from the Lord, is essentially pure, and must therefore be made actually pure by the removal of evil and falsity which contaminates it, through the truth of the Word and through temptations; while the outward form which is not capable of being so affected
