1 摩西摩押平原登尼波,上了那與耶利哥相對的毘斯迦頂。耶和華把基列全地直到但,

2 拿弗他利全地,以法蓮瑪拿西的地,猶大全地直到西

3 地和棕樹城耶利哥的平原,直到瑣珥,都指給他看。

4 耶和華對他:這就是我向亞伯拉罕以撒雅各起誓應許之地,:我必將這地賜你的後裔。現在我使你眼睛見了,你卻不得過到那裡去。

5 於是,耶和華的僕人摩西摩押地,正如耶和華的。

6 耶和華將他埋葬在摩押地、伯毘珥對面的谷中,只是到今日沒有知道他的墳墓。

7 摩西的時候年一二十歲;眼目沒有昏花,精神沒有衰敗。

8 以色列人摩押平原摩西哀哭了三十日,為摩西居喪哀哭的日子就滿了。

9 嫩的兒子約書亞;因為摩西曾按在他頭上,就被智慧的靈充滿,以色列人便從他,照著耶和華吩咐摩西的行了。

10 以後以色列中再沒有興起先知摩西的。他是耶和華面對面所認識的。

11 耶和華打發他在埃及地向法老和他的一切臣僕,並他的全地,行各樣神蹟奇事,

12 又在以色列.眾人眼前顯能的,行一切而可畏的事。

Verses 1-4. By Divine truth the soul gains a perception of the heavenly life before its acquisition.

Verses 5-6. A new state in which the acquisition of truth ceases to be of primary importance in the soul.

Verse 7. Truths being now in their fullness.

Verses 8-9. Anxiety of mind and change of state in which an ardent warfare against evil takes the place of the acquisition of truth.

Verses 10-12. There is no teacher for the regenerating like Divine truth from the Word.
