1 关于非利士的预言

2 耶和华这样:“看哪!有北方涨起,成为一股泛滥的洪,淹没大地和地上的一切,淹没城在城中的居民。人必呼喊,地上所有的居民哀号

3 因为听见战马的声,还有战车辚辚和车轮辘辘的响声,作父亲的双酸软无力,不能照顾他们的儿女。

4 日子将到,非利士人必全遭毁灭,所有曾援助推罗和西顿仍然幸存的人必被剪除,因为耶和华要毁灭非利士人,就是迦斐托余剩的人。

5 迦萨成了头的,亚实基伦静默无声(“静默无声”或译:“被毁坏了”),在它们的平原上(“在它们的平原上”或参照《七十士译本》译作“亚衲族”﹝参书11:21-22﹞)余剩的人哪,你们划伤自己的身体要到几时呢?”

6 耶和华的哪,你要到几时才可停下来呢?请你入鞘吧!休息静止吧!

7 耶和华既吩咐了它,又怎能停下来呢?他指派了它去攻击亚实基伦和沿一带。
