1 以色列人的罪行

2 只有起假誓、撒谎、残杀、盗、奸淫、行强暴,以至流人血事件相继而来。

3 因此,这地必悲哀,地上所有的居民、田野的走兽、空中的飞都必衰微、枯萎,连里的鱼也要灭亡。

4 祭司的罪行虽然这样,人人都不必争论,不要彼此指责。祭司啊!要与你辩论的是我。

5 你要跌倒,先知也必与你一同跌倒;我要毁灭你的母亲

6 我的子民因无知识而灭亡;因为你拒绝了知识,我必拒绝你,不让你作我的祭司;因为你忘掉了你的律法,我也必忘记你的子孙。

7 祭司越增多,就越发得罪我,我必把他们的尊荣变为耻辱

8 他们借着我的子民犯来养活自己,渴望他们多有孽。

9 所以,祭司怎样,人民也怎样。我必按他们的行为惩罚他们,照他们的行为报应他们。

10 他们,却不饱;行淫,人数却不会增多;因为他们离弃了耶和华,不遵守他的命令。

11 拜偶像的罪行淫行、陈酒和新酒,把人的夺走了。

12 我的子民求问头,由杖引导他们,因为淫荡的心使他们走迷了路,他们就行淫不顺从

13 他们在顶上献祭,在冈陵上的橡树、杨树和栗树之下献上烧香,因为树荫美。所以你们的女儿行淫乱,你们的儿媳犯奸淫。

14 我却不因你们的女儿行淫乱,也不因你们的儿媳犯奸淫而惩罚她们,因为你们男人自己离群与娼妓在一起,又与庙妓一同献祭。这无知的人民必遭毁灭。

15 耶和华的警告以色列啊!你虽然行淫,犹大却不可犯罪,不要往吉甲去,不要上到伯.亚文,也不要指着永活的耶和华起誓。

16 以色列倔强,好像倔强的母牛,现在耶和华怎样牧放他们,好像牧放宽阔草场上的羊羔呢?

17 以法莲和偶像连在一起,任凭他吧!

18 他们醉意全消以后,就不断行淫;他们的官长最喜耻辱的事。

19 要把他们裹在翅膀里卷去,他们必因自己所献的祭祀而蒙受羞辱。
