36 So they came back and gave him word of it. And he said, This is what the Lord said by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the heritage of Jezreel the flesh of Jezebel will become food for dogs;

Verse 36. And this is fully perceived by those who are in the truth. For the Word of the Lord, in its interiors testifies, that evil returns upon him who intends and does it; and therefore that those in faith alone are consumed by their own lusts.
