17 وفي اليوم الثاني اثني عشر ثورا ابناء بقر وكبشين واربعة عشر خروفا حوليّا صحيحا.

Verse 17. But this perfect state involves not only all previous states of the natural man, because it involves the first, but also each state in its order, and therefore that, in the second state, the natural man had not so much power against the spiritual man, because truths were full and efficient, and because the conjunction of truth with good was potentially full in the spiritual and celestial degrees;
