40 ثم بكروا صباحا وصعدوا الى راس الجبل قائلين هوذا نحن. نصعد الى الموضع الذي قال الرب عنه فاننا قد اخطأنا.

Verse 40. And secondly, in a state of external illustration, and in the excitement of selfish fear, they are willing to be obedient, and outwardly, at least, to adopt the heavenly life, and forsake their sin.
