31 And their charge [is] the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary with which they serve, and the vail, and all its service.

Verse 31. Their function being the preservation of the Word in its interiors, and of internal worship by the preservation of the essential principle of the Word, the good and truth thence derived, the worship of the Lord therefrom, the externals of worship in accordance therewith, the doctrine of interior truth, and the good of obedience from interior principles.
