Numbers 9:7

7 Those men said to him, "We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?"

Verse 7. Confessing, as individuals, from the light of truth, that they are impure through evil, being drawn into external delights, and thus debarred from fully acknowledging the Lord in worship as to the external man.
