40 και ακουσας ο χανανις βασιλευς αραδ και ουτος κατωκει εν γη χανααν οτε εισεπορευοντο οι υιοι ισραηλ

Verse 40. And the rational faculty of the merely natural man, which rules with those who are in external worship without internal, and appears to be in the light of truth, is then subdued.
