31 απεκαλυψεν δε ο θεος τους οφθαλμους βαλααμ και ορα τον αγγελον κυριου ανθεστηκοτα εν τη οδω και την μαχαιραν εσπασμενην εν τη χειρι αυτου και κυψας προσεκυνησεν τω προσωπω αυτου

Verse 31. And now, therefore, even the false teacher is caused to perceive that Divine Truth from Divine Good is totally opposed to him, and that truth is destructive of falsity, and therefore, externally, he is submissive both as to the understanding and will.
