22 εαν δε γενηται εν τινι αμαρτια κριμα θανατου και αποθανη και κρεμασητε αυτον επι ξυλου

Verse 22. When there shall be found in the soul an evil which ought to be destroyed; and it is seen to induce a state utterly devoid of spiritual life, so that it must be rejected as utterly averse to the good of heaven and the Church:
