Commentary on this verse

By Henry MacLagan

Verse 30. But if, on the other hand, it is clearly manifested from Divine Good, through the revelation of truths not before known, that man, by confirming himself in the life of evil, is given up to all the falsities proceeding therefrom, both as to the external and the internal of his life, and is then delighted with nothing more than his own evil by which he is condemned to hell, then it will be seen that evil was chosen deliberately.
