23 καὶ ἤλθοσαν ἕως φάραγγος βότρυος καὶ κατεσκέψαντο αὐτήν καὶ ἔκοψαν ἐκεῖθεν κλῆμα καὶ βότρυν σταφυλῆς ἕνα ἐπ' αὐτοῦ καὶ ἦραν αὐτὸν ἐπ' ἀναφορεῦσιν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ῥοῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν συκῶν

Verse 23. Whence he has a perception, according to his state, of the principle of good or charity in its general form, even when that state is low, supporting it by the literal sense of the Word with all the power of the will and understanding; and thence also he has natural truth and natural good.
