Numbers 14:9

9 Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.

Verse 9. Provided only that the natural man is willing to submit himself, and no longer to fear that evil will prevail with him, because by temptations man becomes receptive of good, and because in evil there is no power when resisted from a principle of good; for a state of good destroys fear.
