11 And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.

Verse 11. And thence repentance follows; prayer for remission is made; and confession that to claim the power of discerning truths from and for the sake of self is not only foolish but wicked.
