38 Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.

Verse 38. Besides the most general or universal state; the acknowledgement that good is from the Lord; that man may be confirmed in truths; and that the worship of the Lord must be altogether from a state of freedom in ascribing all good to Him.
