20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Verse 20. That them may love supremely the Lord Jesus Christ, and regulate your life by the perception given of His will, that you may be united to Him; for thus alone can you receive the Divine life and heavenly happiness; that you may follow Him in regeneration, even as His Divine Human principle was glorified in the celestial, spiritual, and natural degrees.
