2 τοτε θελουσιν εξελθει οι πρεσβυτεροι σου και οι κριται σου, και θελουσι μετρησει προς τας πολεις τας περιξ του πεφονευμενου·

Verse 2. Then shall the soul, by means of its truths which are from good, and the power of judgement in spiritual things given it, consider the doctrines believed in which are most allied to the state in which the Divine Spirit is perceived to be quenched in the external man:
