3 kaj li diru al ili:Auxdu, ho Izrael! vi iras nun en batalon kontraux viajn malamikojn; ne malfortigxu via koro, ne timu, ne konfuzigxu, kaj ne tremu antaux ili;

Verse 3. And from these the soul shall perceive that a state has arrived in which the spiritual man must contend as if from himself with evils and falsities; and that the will must not be allowed to succumb, nor should the soul fear, or be in trepidation, or be dismayed because of them:
