30 But if they will not pass armed with you into the land of Chanaan, let them receive places to dwell in among you.

Verse 30. But if he is unwilling to co-operate with the spiritual man, he does not enjoy his own life distinctly and in freedom; but is in external worship without internal, or in merely selfish religion.
