Ezekiel 2

Studie

And He said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.

And the spirit came into me as He spoke unto me, and stood me upon my feet, and I heard Him who spoke to me.

And He said to me, Son of man, I send thee to the sons of Israel, to the revolting nations who have revolted against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me, until this same day.

And the sons are hard of face and firm of heart*; I do send thee to them; and thou shalt say to them, Thus says the Lord Jehovih*.

And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear (for they are a rebellious house), yet shall know that there has been a prophet in the midst of them.

And thou, son of man, fear them not, and fear not their words, for they are defiant and thorny with thee, and thou dwellest among scorpions; fear not their words, and be· not ·dismayed at their faces, for they are a rebellious house.

And thou shalt speak My words to them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious.

But thou, son of man, hear what I speak to thee; Be not rebellious as the house of rebellion; open· thy mouth ·wide, and eat what I give to thee.

And I saw, and behold, a hand was sent to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it;

and He spread it before me; and it was written on the face and on the back; and there was written in it lamentations, and moaning, and woe.
