And He said unto▵ me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.

And the spirit came into me as◦ He spoke unto▵ me, and stood me upon my feet, and I heard Him who spoke to▵ me.

And He said to▵ me, Son of man, I◦ send thee to▵ the sons of Israel, to▵ the revolting nations who have revolted against◦ Me; they◦ and their fathers have transgressed against◦ Me, until this same day.

And the sons are hard of face and firm of heart*; I◦ do send thee to▵ them; and thou shalt say to▵ them, Thus says the Lord Jehovih*.

And they◦, whether they will hear, or◦ whether they will forbear (for they◦ are a rebellious house), yet shall know that there has been a prophet in the midst of them.

And thou◦, son of man, fear them not, and fear not their words, for they are defiant and thorny▵ with◦ thee, and thou◦ dwellest among scorpions; fear not their words, and be· not ·dismayed at their faces, for they◦ are a rebellious house.

And thou shalt speak My words to▵ them, whether they will hear, or◦ whether they will forbear; for they◦ are most rebellious.

But thou◦, son of man, hear what I◦ speak to▵ thee; Be not rebellious as the house of rebellion; open· thy mouth ·wide, and eat what I◦ give to▵ thee.

And I saw, and behold, a hand was sent to▵ me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it;
10
and He spread it before me; and it◦ was written on the face and on the back; and there was written in it lamentations, and moaning, and woe.
