203. Internal Meaning of Amos, Chapter 3 (4)
1-2 The church was instituted solely with the Israelitish nation, therefore falsities and evils must be examined there. (3)
3-6 There cannot be at the same time a church and not a church, nor truths and at the same time falsities, without truths being snatched away. (3)
7-8 The Lord will surely reveal this; (3)
9-10 for from this it is clear how the church is devastated. (3, 11)
11 Therefore the truths of the church perish from falsities, (3)
12 and the goods and truths of the Word will be carried off by them; (3)
